All these are empowered by one and the same Spirit, who apportions to each one individually as he wills.
For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ.

1 Corinthians 12:11-12, ESV

Mark and Ronel Beckett

The Beckett family, from South Africa, has been in full-time mission service since 1996. Mark studied forestry but later joined Youth With a Mission (YWAM) in 1996, doing Biblical Community Development in Lesotho. Ronel was a Radiographer for 10 years before she resigned and joined YWAM in 1993. She was involved with Primary Health care and vocational training in rural villages. Together they served with YWAM in Lesotho in a rural village in Community Development for about 9 years.

With their two kids, Sasha and John Mark, they started their ministry in Malawi in 2007 and lived since 2008 in Mzuzu in the northern province of Malawi, where they reach out to the poor, applying Isaiah 58 to effectively bring the Good News of a caring God to all people. They teach rural farmers to be good stewards of the land (using Foundation for Farming principles) and to work it in such a way as to make a profit.
